A different approach to deployment
Hydron is the deployment layer we wished existed. So we built it. Now anyone can run on bare metal, without the grunt work of setting it up.
Hydron just entered closed beta! A small group is using it, breaking it, and telling us what’s missing. Want in?
Deploying software in 2026 shouldn’t feel like twenty years ago. But for a lot of builders, it still does: pick a host, fight with config, and keep a server alive by hand, on a routine that’s barely changed.
Two things in particular keep costing us. On one hand there’s the cloud bills that creep up with traffic, and on the other, time: every launch pulls our DevOps and SysAdmins back into the same grunt work they’d done a hundred times. We think it’s time we moved on from that.
How it works
A flat, predictable cost from running on bare metal, and AI automation that handles the repetitive parts so everyone can focus on what matters most: shipping great products.
What you do
- 1
Bring a repo, or describe what you need.
- 2
Answer a few extra questions.
- 3
Review and approve the recommended setup.
Behind the scenes
- 1
Analyses your repo and works out what it needs to deploy it.
- 2
Provisions a dedicated bare-metal server and sets it up: OS, SSH access, firewall, Docker.
- 3
Packages and deploys your app.
- 4
Configures domains and SSL.
- 5
Runs health checks and recovers on its own if something breaks.
Who we are
Hydron is built by Vertex, a venture studio in Vilnius, Lithuania. Vertex builds, invests in, and scales technology companies in big data and AI, so new products are always coming through the door, each one needing to get deployed and kept running. That’s the problem Hydron grew out of, and the tool we wished we’d had for every one of them.
